A star graduate of the West Australian Academy of Performing Arts in 2000, Forrester Savell moved to Melbourne where he quickly made a name for himself at the iconic Metropolis Audio working with the likes of Sum41, Something for Kate, Alex Lloyd, Birtles Shorrock Goble, Delta Goodrem and Pete Murray.

In 2003, Forrester was invited to Los Angeles to work at the famous NRG Studios in North Hollywood. Here he co-produced and engineered on the Columbia record, Full Scale with uber-producer Jay Baumgardner (Evanescence) and engineer John Ewing Jr (Tonic, Sugar Ray). During this time, he was also privileged to engineer for the legendary Helmet on their Size Matters album.

Since then, Forrester has been nominated for 2 Producer of the Year ARIA’s for Karnivool’s sophomore Gold-selling album, Sound Awake, & Dead Letter Circus’s debut This Is The Warning, a Gold-selling album which has seen them garner critical acclaim and massive international success. He has recently completed production duties on their follow-up record The Catalyst Fire. Internationally, his success with UK band I Am Giant, has collected them a Gold record for their debut album, The Horrifying Truth, while being recalled to produce their sophomore album. Other highlights include mixing live albums for Birds of Tokyo, cult favourites COG & producing a Gold-selling album for The Butterfly Effect.

Now one of Australia’s most in-demand producer / mixers, Forrester’s time is now based out of Melbourne’s iconic Sing Sing studios, where he continues to create records for some of the best new Australians and international artists.
