Father Vytautas Kaušp?das was also an architect, born in Paandrioniškis.
1960-1971 Algirdas Kaušp?das studied at Vilnius 23rd secondary school, 1968-1971 studied at Vilnius children art school. 1976 – finished his studies at VISI Architecture faculty.
1976-1984 worked as an architect in the institute of Kaunas city construction projecting, 1984-1990 was the main clerk of Kaunas architects union. 1990-1992 was a director of LTV (Lithuanian national television).
From the year 1993 worked as a director in the company “Jungtin?s paj?gos". Algirdas Kaušp?das constructed dwelling-houses in Lithuania, Germany, Denmark, Norway. Also created the salesystem of multiple dwelling-houses projecting. Algirdas Kaušp?das released some catalogues of multiple dwelling-houses and established the company of real estate projects development “JP Haus”.
1988-1990 was an active member of S?j?dis, a member of initiative group and S?j?dis council. Algirdas Kaušp?das also participated in Rolandas Paksas president election company. In the year 2004 he supported the candidate Petras Auštrevi?ius in the election of president.
Has a wife Vilija Ulozait?, who is also an architect. Two children from the first marriage: Monika (b. 1979), Alg? (b. 1987).
