Биография : 70's Tush

Formed in early 2013, 70’s Tush is a raucous, maximum-blues-infused jamband from Belgium who explode live with the rhythm and roughness of some of the greatest blues and rock acts of all time.
From the start the band had been completely idiosyncratic, Sven (vocals), Koen (rhythm guitar), Jeroen (bass) and Jan (drums) didn’t want to be part of any particular part of the music business. Very soon it became clear that there was only one lead guitarist who shared that exact same thought, so Pieter Minne, who played in a few bands with Sven before, joined in. Pieter is known to be one of Belgiums’ most versatile rock and blues guitarists, combining the skills of legends such as Jimmy Page & Warren Haynes with his own. Along the way, the quintet became a sextet as Marijn came knocking on the door. With Marijn on keys the line-up and of course their sound was complete.

Due to familial reasons, the boys parted ways with drummer Jan in October 2014. Jan was replaced by no less than Bruno Meeus. Bruno toured Europe and recorded with some of the most fantastic bands in the world, such as the Wizards of Ooze, the British blues Rock icon Stan Webb, Bugs Henderson (US) & Zap Mama (B) etc…
About the music? Yes, they play covers indeed, but this ain’t your dime-a-dozen coverband, 70’s Tush evokes the blues rock of bands like Led Zeppelin, Elmore James, Humble Pie, Rory Gallagher, Allman Brothers, etc…
Needless to say, 70’s Tush is a 100% liveband. You might catch ‘em 10 times playing the same set, but every night you’ll see a different show.
Enough said, there’s only one way to convince yourselves… Take the trip down memory lane, these guys will guide you through blues and rock ‘n’ roll history.
