The intercontinental progressive Rock project Left Arm Jack has released its debut album, “Home”, consolidating an international partnership that began in 2020. Conceived by Brazilian-Canadian producer and multi-instrumentalist Gustavo Aragão alongside German vocalist Dominik Eckert, the record represents the first official chapter of a collaboration that began during the pandemic and quickly evolved into a highly productive creative partnership. “Home” brings together the duo's earliest compositions with more recent tracks, establishing the project's artistic identity and pointing toward a future of continuous releases.



Musically, the album embraces a cinematic and timeless aesthetic. The compositions are built around intricate chord progressions and arrangements that guide the listener through immersive atmospheres ranging from medieval to sci-fi, always supported by the weight and density of progressive rock. The sound is enriched by the wide range of instruments performed by Gustavo Aragão, incorporating elements such as ronroco, charango, Armenian duduk, Portuguese guitar, mandolins, and cellos, expanding the artistic boundaries of the work. Dominik Eckert's vocal lines guide this journey with versatility and personality, balancing intensity and melody in songs that explore belonging, identity, and transformation, concepts that revolve around the symbolic meaning of “home” proposed by the album's title.



Among the influences that shape Left Arm Jack's sound are John Lennon, Journey, Harem Scarem, Symphony X, Marillion, Enchant, Shadow Gallery, and Anathema, as well as classical music, film scores, and elements of traditional folk music. These references help support the project's aim of turning each album into a cohesive and profound narrative experience.
