Former Guitarist Bob Weston was found dead on Tuesday 5 January 2012. Weston, who replaced Danny Kirwan in 1972 as the band's guitarist, had only a short, but turbulent, stay in the band. When on tour in the USA during 1973 band leader Mick Fleetwood found out that Weston was having and affair with his wife and was subsequently sacked.
Since then Weston has been releasing several solo projects as well as cooperating on projects of several well known British artists. As the course of death the combined effects of liver Cirhossis and a stomach desease was given. Weston was 64.
